"It's a very good gesture and it's a very important game for the club," Sam Reed, joint-chairman of the supporters' club told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"It's been a hard season for us, but we need all the support we can get - we're trying to take three or four coaches."
Reed expects between 200 to 300 Forest Green fans in total to make the journey to the Lamb Ground, which would be Rovers' largest travelling contingent of the season.
Having won promotion to the Conference in 1998, Forest Green are currently the longest serving continuous members of the non-league elite.
