Tamworth continued their superb home form with an emphatic 4-0 victory over beleaguered Forest Green Rovers at The Lamb.
The Lambs have now won nine of their last ten home games and have moved into the top eight in the Conference table.
Striker Tris Whitman was the catalyst for the victory, scoring twice and causing the Rovers defence all sorts of problems with his pace.
He opened the scoring after 19 minutes when he anticipated Tom Gould's poor back header and flicked the ball over Rovers keeper Steve Perrin before rolling the ball into the empty net.
He then scored his fourth goal in as many games in the 73rd minute to complete the rout, tapping home from close range after substitute Mark Shaw's effort had come back off the underside of the bar.
Tamworth were dominant throughout and could have scored more.
After Whitman's first, they laid siege to the Rovers goal with Neil Ross going close when he beat Perrin to a Mark Cooper throughball but could only watch as his effort rolled wide of the post.
Then captain Marcus Ebdon fired over from ten yards after a Whitman cross had caused panic in the Rovers defence.
The Lambs' second came 19 seconds after the interval as Ebdon let fly from 25 yards and the ball soared into the net with Perrin a mere spectator.
Six minutes later they made the game safe when Ross, on loan from Macclesfield, controlled a Matt Redmile pass on his chest and turned neatly before finding the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Rovers had no answer and failed to trouble Ryan Price in the Tamworth goal, much to the delight of player-manager Cooper.
"That was probably the best Tamworth performance since I have been at the club," he said. "We won the battle early on and then dominated the game. I am delighted."
